Letter From an Unknown Woman

adapted from Stefan Zweig’s novella

A woman’s enduring devotion to a famous architect she met as a child comes to define her life and passions. The story unfolds through three encounters between them at different periods of the woman’s life, and portrays the changing nature of her love given the devastating fact that each time they meet, he fails to remember her.

Beyond the Pale

In medieval Ireland, a girl plagued by disturbing visions lives in disguise as the ward of a devout ex-soldier, who believes her ability is sent from God. The pair are enlisted as travel escorts by a magnetic young nun, but it soon becomes clear that the nun’s true interest lies in the prophetic young girl, and their growing connection becomes an all-consuming threat to their lives and souls.

La Peste

When 16th century Venice is infected with an outbreak of bubonic plague, a devoted nun is thrust out of cloistered life to combat the pestilence and soon finds herself enduring a crisis of faith.

Brigantine

A steampunk, fantasy series about a smuggling ship, The Brigantine, and its crew, led by Captain Ruth Murphy. In the pilot, Captain Murphy is coerced into taking a mysterious package onboard, and finds herself embroiled in a government conspiracy. Filled with a cast of colorful characters, Brigantine mixes the fun of Star Trek: The Original Series and the political intrigue of Game of Thrones, all tied up in a brand new world of my own design.

Awarded the Rena Down Award for Excellence in Screenwriting at The New School’s Voice/Over competition in 2019.


Point Reyes

Confined to the sleepy beach town of Point Reyes until her sister becomes a legal adult, Avery has succumbed to the oppressive boredom of the fog filled vacation town. That is, until she discovers a dead body on the side of the road. As odd occurrences around the town seem to point towards foul play, Avery takes matters into her own hands. It seems she has escaped her depressing, hum-drum life as young-adult caretaker until... Isadora catches her mid-snoop. From there on out, Avery must decide: call it quits or let Isadora tag along.

When Zoe tries to sneakily complete her walk of shame after a one night stand, the last person she expects to see in the living room is her former best friend, Lucie. After five long years of not speaking, the two confront why their relationship deteriorated and try to find a way out of their conflict.

The isolated town of Midway lays halfway to the top of Mount Pickering, its residents guarding secrets of their own and of the dilapidated mine at the top of the peak. When a malfunction strands a group of tourists there, the mystery of the enigmatic tourist trap is laid bare. 


Threshold

Following a tumultuous separation from her partner, Adrienne returns to her family home to get back on her feet — but from the moment she arrives home, she realizes something is terribly wrong. A dark spirit begins to terrorize the home, but Adrienne is the only one who is able to see it. As she struggles to convince her family that the visions are real, they begin to suspect that she is the source of the discord.
